Our Eco-friendly partners

See some of the eco-friendly companies we work with

At Indigo Valley we love to work with other great businesses who share the same aims of delivering quality products and services while protecting the planet at the same time. Behind the scenes we work with businesses in various sectors who stand out as the best of the best in these areas. Here are three of our partners who help us to make sure we’re doing the best we can do in the bigger picture.

Seacourt Printers

We proudly use Seacourt printers for their excellent service and commitment to protecting the planet by making their industry the best it can be. At the heart of Seacourt is a simple idea – they want to produce beautiful work for their clients and which does not damage our environment

Through self-funded technology and sustainability, reaching every aspect of their business, Seacourt has been recognised by B Corp as one of the ‘Best for the World’ businesses in terms of environmental impact – ranking their business in the top 5 per cent worldwide of all B Corps! Seacourt has achieved this ranking due to the development of our quality waterless LED printing process LightTouch®, using 100 per cent renewable energy, reducing volatile chemical emissions by 98.5 per cent and delivering zero waste to landfill.

Kite Packaging

Packaging materials is one of our largest consumables in delivering the thousands of orders we dispatch each year. We want to make sure that these materials have the lowest environmental impact both before and after we use them. We don’t want to pass on unnecessary waste to our customers and we don’t want to use excessive packaging either. To minimise the impact of our packaging on the environment we use Kite to help get the job done right. Kite sets out to strategically minimising the amount of packaging being used by its customers like us and have championed enviro-products for years.

As a largescale logistics operation, Kite have two main carbon contributors: fuel and energy.  They tackle the first by offsetting their truck fuel at source to bring their carbon footprint in this category to zero. To achieve carbon neutrality, they moved their energy consumption across to renewable tariffs, which utilise wind, wave or solar energy, while lowering their overall consumption in their operations and facilities too. Kite’s operations to neutralise the carbon that was not offset at source is achieve in partnership with Carbon Neutral Britain. Kite is also working towards achieving its goal of commissioning a new state-of-the art facility which will have the potential to be carbon negative with the aim of being built in 2022.

DPD Local

Every delivery of coffee has to reach our customers quickly, safely and most importantly without unnecessary pollution. Our delivery partner, DPD Local, delivers millions of parcels a day and are committed to Driving Change.

DPD ensure their carbon neutral commitment is met by measuring CO2 emissions, striving to reduce them, and by offsetting the remaining ones. As well as having their very own alternative energy fleet of vehicles, DPD’s emissions are always externally audited. They also use smart route planning to reduce the journeys required to make their deliveries. To offset our remaining transport emissions, DPD finance renewable and cleaner energy production projects in partnership with EcoAct.
